Need for Speed 2015
Need for Speed (2015) is an upcoming release currently under development by Ghost Games in Gothenburg, Sweden; Guildford, England; and Bucharest, Romania. It is being developed with the Frostbite 3 engine.
Electronic Arts published a press release on May 21st, 2015 highlighted key features in this upcoming title including it being a full reboot for the franchise, and not as a sequel to the Underground series.
It will feature deep customisation, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive plot. The overall focus is on deeper levels of car culture than any previous Need for Speed title, and is centred around the player’s car.
The look, tone, and real-world level of detail of this title is being shaped by EA’s own car culture community – Speedhunters. The collaboration is in regards to research, authenticity, and development of the title’s urban car culture with past, present, and emerging trends.
Other key sources for the title’s urban car culture include Alexi Smith of Noriyaro, Luke Huxham of Maiham Media, Justin Fox of Zen Garage, Antonio Alvendia of Motor Mavens, and Brandon Leung of Bowls LA.
The title has had an ambitious fan feedback program, with various fans being invited to play early prototype builds of the title, and addressing feedback based on fan input.
The announcement of a delay for the PC release was issued on September 14th, 2015 on the official Need for Speed website. The PC release was pushed to Spring 2016 to allow for further improvements including an unlocked framerate, increased visual fidelity, and ensure the connected nature of the game is stable.
1TB ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops III’ PS4 Bundle Revealed
Orange is the new black—literally—in Sony’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III PlayStation 4 bundle.
Available Nov. 6, the limited-edition console features Call of Duty’s ember-orange logo on a black chassis, as well as colored power and eject buttons and game-mode emblems on the front.
Each icon represents a different game mode: The SOG Skull signifies campaign, the Winslow Accord faction logo symbolizes multiplayer, and “the mark” denotes zombies. Announced in July, the undead survival co-op mode introduces the Magician, Femme Fatale, Cop, Boxer, and mysterious Shadow Man—featuring the voices and likenesses of Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman, and Robert Picardo.
The included DualShock 4 controller also comes with a grey-and-orange color scheme, as well as the game’s logo on the right grip. Those who already have a PS4 will be able to purchase the orange-and-gray controller as a standalone accessory, too.
Pre-order the bundle now for $449.99 ahead of its Nov. 6 launch. It will also be released in Canada for $549.99 CAD.
The bundle includes the standard edition of the game, as well as the bonus Nuk3town multiplayer map as a free in-box download code.
